Perinatal Mental Health Capacity Building RFP

Strengthening Families Washington at the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in collaboration with Perinatal Support Washington (PS-WA), is pleased to announce that funding is available for perinatal mental health community capacity building.

We invite Requests for Application (RFAs) from Washington State organizations interested in collaborative efforts to increase community-wide awareness and develop resources to support perinatal mental health.

The Request for Application form is attached and more information is available on our website here: http://dcyf.wa.gov/about/government-community/community-engagement This website will be updated with an FAQ every Friday afternoon.  Final day to submit questions is October 18th at 5pm.

We will be hosting a webinar this Thursday, September 27th from 10:00am – 11:30am. The first half of the webinar will be an introduction to Perinatal Mental Health and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). The second half will be an overview of the funding application. This webinar is open to anyone in the community interested in learning more about perinatal mental health.
