SUMMARY:Supporting Parents with ADHD During Pregnancy & Postpartum Webinar
DESCRIPTION:ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that impacts about 4.4% of adults. When adults with ADHD become parents\, unique difficulties can arise in a time period that is already challenging for many. This webinar will give an overview of what ADHD looks like in adults\, outline common challenges that those with ADHD experience during pregnancy and postpartum\, and offer ADHD specific strategies to help support families. This webinar is open to any professional working with pregnant and postpartum parents including: therapists\, midwives\, MDs\, doulas\, home visitors\, parent educators\, case managers and more. \n  \nDate: Thursday\, March 30th \nTime: 12pm – 1:30pm PST \nPresenter: Jane Kosloff\, LICSW\, PMH-C \nCost: FREE \nLocation: Zoom \nREGISTER NOW\nThis webinar does not provide any Continuing Education Units (CEUs). \nThis webinar will be recorded and available on the Perinatal Support WA webinar page.  If you cannot attend in person\, you do not need to register.  Recording will be uploaded approximately 1 month after the training. \nAbout the presenter: \nJane Kosloff\, LICSW\, PMH-C is a therapist in private practice in Mountlake Terrace and virtually in Washington State. Jane began her career in community mental health and has worked in primary care settings as a behavioral health consultant and a social work clinical supervisor. While in private practice\, Jane has focused on supporting perinatal clients around anxiety and trauma. Jane also enjoys working with pregnant and new parents who have ADHD. Jane is an EMDR consultant in training with Dr. Mara Tesler Stein and offers EMDR consultation to professionals. When she’s not working\, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and two kiddos. \nThis free webinar is available to anyone working with families during the perinatal period and is offered by Perinatal Support WA through a grant from Strengthening Families Washington at the Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families (DCYF). \n \n
