DESCRIPTION:Monday\, March 2\, 2020\n12:00pm-1:30pm FREE \nPresenter: Camie Jae Goldhammer\, MSW\, LICSW\, IBCLC\nIndigenous Women in WA state face a complex tapestry of risk factors and protective factors during the childbearing year. Historical trauma\, lived experiences of trauma\, racism\, and poverty lead to a high prevalence of medical and mental health complications during this period. Childbearing and motherhood are also opportunities for growth\, health\, and healing. Indegenous womxn have a rich history to draw from to help support and heal through reclaiming traditional practices such as breastfeeding and indigenous parenting practices. This webinar will look at these issues as well as treatment implications and strategies for support mental health throughout the perinatal period. \n**This training is open to anyone working with childbearing families. \nCamie Jae Goldhammer\, MSW\, LICSW\, IBCLC\, (Sisseton-Wahpeton) is a Clinical Social Worker and Lactation Consultant.
