Group Peer Support (GPS) Consultation Groups FREE – TUESDAYS

January 25 @ 10:30 am - June 28 @ 12:00 pm

Every fourth Tuesday (10:30am-12pm PST)

FREE monthly consultation groups for those who have attended a Group Peer Support training through Perinatal Support Washington.

Our monthly consultations are led by one of our master GPS trainers and are both a chance to get support as a care provider, deepen facilitators comfort and knowledge of using the GPS model, and also receive consultation and support for managing difficult situations in groups.  Groups start by being in the model experientially with a GPS check in and then move into learning and consultation on various topics such as crisis planning, identifying facilitation styles, workshopping new ‘Reality of Parenting’ statements and corresponding principles and check in question, and more. Consultation is open to anyone who has taken a GPS training through PS-WA or a current co-facilitator of WA state group using the GPS model. New and experienced facilitators welcome. You may choose to attend any session(s).

Location: Zoom

Cost: FREE

Facilitators: Mia Edidin, LICSW & Crystal Gurney
