Substance Use & Perinatal Mental Health in the Hospital-to-Home Population

This training is open to WA state professionals.

Join us for a one-day training designed for providers who support infants and their caregivers who have been in NICU and are transitioning to home and community-based care. This training is for Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) providers, medical professionals, hospital partners, community-based providers and more.

Learning Objectives:

  • The intersections between Substance Use Disorder, Perinatal Mental Health, and NICU
  • Strategies for the hospital-to-home transition for infants and their caregivers who have experienced SUD with Perinatal Mental Health challenges
  • An overview of the Plan of Safe Care initiative

Continuing Education Units:

  • 6.5 Contact hours available for RNs. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 17084 for 6.5 contact hours
