Navigating the Fourth Trimester

This workshop is open to families in Washington state.
The weeks and months after bringing home a baby can be beautiful, overwhelming, tender, and exhausting — often all at once. This workshop offers a supportive space to talk honestly about the transition to parenthood and the very real emotional and practical challenges of the fourth trimester. Whether you are pregnant or recently welcomed a baby, you are invited to join us for connection, encouragement, and practical support as we explore:
- the emotional ups and downs of becoming a parent
- sleep, feeding, recovery, and the daily realities of caring for a newborn
- changes in relationships with partners and family
- the pressure of cultural, family, or social expectations during early
parenthood - shifting identity, expectations, and the pressure to “do it all”
- self-compassion, adjustment, and finding your footing in a new season
- making space for difficult or unexpected birth experiences
You can expect a compassionate, welcoming group space for parents, facilitated by a licensed therapist with expertise in perinatal mental health.
