Mindfulness Strategies for the Perinatal Period: Simple & Effective Tools to Use with Parents in this Season of Life Webinar
Date: May 12, 2022
Time: 12pm-1:15pm PST
Cost: FREE
Location: Zoom
Presenter: Michelle Anderson, LMHC, PMH-C
Where do we start in our work with perinatal clients? We begin by meeting them exactly where they are, offering support via mindfulness and simple interventions. This webinar will lay out the foundation of how and why we use mindfulness with this population and what that actually means and looks like. It will also provide concrete and simple tools to help parents develop structures and understanding to manage the transition to parenthood including:
(1) How to assess and address their essential self-care,
(2) How to identify and apply the skills of self-regulation,
(3) How to manage mood and anxiety concerns with gentleness and ease.
These Mobile Mama Tools were designed and developed specifically for mothers and parents in the perinatal stage.
*This Webinar is useful for all providers who come into contact with perinatal clients from pre-conception through parenthood.
